Fletch, Ray Scott, Eddie Kelly, Fletch |
The team have touched down in Jeff tells Billy West Ham have offered three-and-a-quarter million for him. Billy is impressed, but repeats that he was hoping for a better deal at Harchester. Jeff gets Billy to commit that if he can't get a better deal with Harchester he will accept West Ham's. Luis suggests he and Lynda tell Jerry about the tape, and let him believe there is more on there that will incriminate him so he will agree to whatever they want. Ray asks Didier what he thinks about re-signing Fletch. Didier knows Fletch is good but has gathered he can be trouble and wouldn't be able to play the next round if they win tomorrow. Hung up over Ann, Scott rejects a girl and insults her by calling her a tart, before storming off to he and Eddie's room. Kelly is quite drunk and Fletch has taken her back to her room where she gets some air on the balcony. Fletch joins her and tells her the new job has done her wonders, while he wants to come home and hasn't felt the same since the crash. Soon Kelly has kissed Fletch and he takes her inside, witnessed by Scott on his above balcony. After they have slept together, Kelly gets a phone call from Wes, and guiltily has to brush him off while Fletch in bed tells her she handled that well with a grin. Notes: The Best: Terry Kiely training inside the Son Moix stadium alongside the Real Mallorca side. He commented on this experience in a May 2020 piece with FourFourTwo Magazine: “Obviously I was shocking when we had to do any proper stuff, and they gave me the absolute runaround. I’m not even sure they realised why I was even there – they just kept slapping my arse when we were playing five-a-side games.” · Foreshadowing: Jeff is more bothered about maintaining his friendship with Harry Redknapp than Billy’s desire to stay at Harchester (3.51). Additional Info: As Eddie chats up the brunette alongside Scott’s blonde, he sings a tune that sounds a lot like DT's theme! · Soundtrack: Ricky Martin: "La Vida Loca" and "Maria", New Radicals: “Mother, We Just Can’t Get Enough”, Wamdue Project: "King of my Castle", Nova Nova: "Tones" |
