Jamie is worried he is going off Tash while she is pregnant, and when a pre-ghost Fletch in his mirror advises him to use his imagination, Jamie pictures Victoria instead of Tash! Claudia learns her father and Lynda are engaged. Jeff is not happy to hear about Tash's recent antics at the club, and sets her the task of poaching Robbie Walsh as a new client for them.

Claudia is shocked to discover her dad has proposed to Lynda and they haven't even slept together yet. Sam tells her he is really in love with Lynda which is why they will be getting married as soon as possible. Claudia plants it with Lynda that the jury might not go easy on her if they learn she is going to have a billionaire husband waiting for her. Taylor sets his sights on Robbie but is curtailed when the Parkers arrive to have dinner with him.

When Jamie thinks he is seeing Victoria standing at the bar, he knows he literally can't get her out of his mind, until Tash confirms it really is Victoria and wanders what she is doing back. When Fletch finds out, he wants to go and get the money Victoria fleeced from them, though Jamie is apprehensive about seeing her at all. Lynda gets a shock when Victoria turns up at her office to see her. Victoria offers herself as a witness for Lynda's trial, explaining she can tell them what Prash was like. Lynda knows what Victoria herself is like, and how she wouldn't do anything unless she was getting something out of it, and throws her out.

Fletch and Jamie go to Victoria's room, where she denies any existence of the £100K, but lets slip to Fletch about Lynda's engagement to Sam. Jamie goes back to see Victoria alone and asks how much to get her to leave Harchester. Staying at The Grange the night before the Celtic game, Victoria gets chatting to Linton and Fletch warns her off, leading to Victoria announcing the woman Fletch is sleeping with is getting married. Jamie can't stay away from Victoria, and in her room they make out.

Claudia skips the game to drink in The Blue Room. Victoria joins her, and Claudia refers to Sam having more children with Lynda as more brats eating into her inheritance. Victoria lets slip that no wonder Karl is so bothered about Lynda's engagement, for they were lovers! Jeff and Tash are shocked to learn Robbie has signed with Taylor, and Jeff orders Tash onto maternity leave and away from his business. Sam and Lynda are about to make their big announcement in the Players' Lounge when a tipsy Claudia bursts in, grabs hold of Fletch and reveals the engagement of her father the chairman and their "favourite" chief exec Lynda Block!

Notes:

Return of Victoria Palmer/Baptiste (Sarah Matravers) last seen in 5.14 Judgement Day.

The Best: Victoria remarking to Claudia how Lynda has enticed some poor sap into marrying her, and Claudia reveals that sap is in fact her father. Fletch tries to hide his reaction to Lynda’s engagement news by stating Sam better not leave any sharp objects lying around!
