DT Locations: Frank Patcham's house

Frank Patcham's house featured in 9 episodes in Season 1 of DT.

It was he and daughter Lucy's home during his time as manager of Harchester United's youth team. Frank couldn't be happier when Lucy begins seeing Dean Hocknell, who he'd appointed captain and states he is glad Lucy found a loyal footballer and wouldn't know what he'd do if she was being messed around! Organising a Sunday lunch, Frank asks Lucy how it feels now Dean is in the first team. Lucy says it feels like she can't do anything right for him since, and something's different. Frank puts it down to the new pressure Dean is under. Frank tells Dean and Lucy he has a present - he has more money than he needs so he is going to give them some to go towards the wedding(!) or putting a deposit on a flat. Dean is uncomfortable and dashes to the toilet, and when Lucy and Frank check on him, they are shocked to see he has done a runner. Initially fearing Dean wants to break up with her, Dean and Lucy are back on, and that Christmas they move into a flat of their own. It isn't long before the truth about Dean and Georgina Jacobs comes out, and Lucy moves back in with her dad.

Conor McCarthy stays with Frank for a time, when he returns home to find Conor newly returned from Northern Ireland and sitting on his doorstep in the darkness. Lucy meanwhile can't tell her dad that she slept with Jacobs in revenge on Dean - for he only understands giving away a penalty as something he regrets! Lucy feels down as she prepares for Michael's funeral. Frank doesn't think Lucy should go as it is Stephanie and Georgina's day, while Lucy feels guilty that she caused Michael's death, angry and wanting to hurt him. Dean goes on loan to Italy, and Frank is concerned that Fletch, with his reputation, is helping Lucy move back into her flat, but Conor assures him Fletch only came to pick her up this morning.

When Coates wants to draft Conor in for Arsenal in the FA Cup 5th Round, Frank is aghast as Conor is in no way ready to take on the best four in the Premiership. While everyone is at Dean and Natalie's reception, Frank arrives home to find his lock broken. and door glass smashed. He creeps inside to see the "burglar" is Warren. Warren doesn't believe he has the bottle for football, or anything in life. Frank disagrees, and knows he has the willpower to stick with it.
