The eagerly awaited arrival of Miguel Lopez, and his agent, Tony Franks is old friends with Lynda. The group go out to the training pitch and when Liam tells Miguel buying him is just what the club needs, Miguel is confused, and points out he is only here on loan. Chloe claims Tony told her Miguel was for sale, and Miguel starts mouthing off on how he would never come to “a club full of liars and murderers!”. An overly stressed Alex is then told by Sully if he isn't going to sign Miguel then he will be requesting a transfer. Lynda asks Amy for a pen and is surprised when Amy hands over a fountain pen, which Lynda tests and sees is identical to the 'Guess again' letter. She learns Danny bought it her, and they get onto the subject of Amy wanting a promotion to Assistant Press Officer, and Lynda is spooked when Amy adds her mom used to say "Don't get too comfortable". This convinces Lynda that Amy is behind the threats.

Miguel is still determined to speak with the London clubs but Tony is stalling, in order for the Harchester deal to go through. As they lie in bed that night, Alex questions if the club is worth keeping himself out of prison for, which worries Lynda. The next day Jason arrives at work and gets a shock when Alex shows up at the Tyre Bay, and offers Jason a month's trial training with the reserves, as he saw something in Jason and he has passion for the club. Alex arrives at the training ground with a new sense of enthusiasm, and informs Sully that as far as he is concerned he is not for sale. Lynda comes across Miguel about to leave and has a word with him, saying Harchester would be able to play him in the position he wanted and pair him up with his choice of player. Miguel is suddenly interested again as Lynda invites him to the game tomorrow. Lynda slyly offers Amy the job, and Amy is over the moon and hugs a surprised Lynda.

The next day is the first day of the new Premiership season, and Jason meets his boss outside the Lair. He tells him he'll need a month off from work after being offered the trial, but Jason's boss tells him his job won't be there for him by the time he fails this trial. Lynda decides it's time to confront Amy, but when she does, Amy has no idea what she's on about, and Lynda forces her to write 'Guess again' on a notepad. Lynda realises the handwriting style is completely different, and explains it away as some silly prank. During the first half, Lynda receives a text message from 'DragonsCorp' saying "Still wrong, guess again." She goes back inside the offices and finds a new letter waiting for her. Opening it, it reads that she's being watched. Lynda panics and begins to feel faint, before collapsing onto the floor. Lynda is taken to hospital where she wakes up to be told the baby is fine. She then sees Detective Inspector Burrows standing in front of her. He tells Lynda he brought her to the hospital and says he never meant for things to go this far. Lynda suddenly realises it has been him sending the (second round of) letters.

Before half time, Harchester are 1-0 down following a goal from Marlon Harewood, and in the Players' Lounge, and Chloe drops Tony and his lack-of-contact with London clubs in it with Miguel. As the second half begins, Miguel confronts Tony, telling him he is fired. A seriously cheesed-off Tony then puts it straight to Miguel - because of his constant disrespect for managers and training sessions no other club wants to touch him, and even Atlético don't want him back. Burrows keeps up his persecution of Lynda in her hospital bed, informing her even if she reported him for entrapment he'd make sure nothing could be traced back to him. He gives Lynda another chance to tell him what really happened, but she just says it will be her word against his. Burrows leaves, after reminding Lynda that he can wait for however long it takes, and she will slip up sooner or later. Alex is told by Miguel that he will be coming to the club, and Alex can't wait to tell Lynda. Amy however has to inform him that she has been taken to hospital, and Alex gets there to be told by Lynda that the whole thing is over.

Tony Franks - all set to become Harchester’s new agent. Almost a younger version of Jeff Stein.

Quotes: Miguel has Harchester’s number: "The club of death. Everyone who comes to this club dies!"

Foreshadowing: Alex learns how Jason was with the club when he was fourteen, and asks him what went wrong, but all Jason will say is that it was personal stuff  [10.29 The Wedding Sinner]

Continuity: Commentator Ian Darke (replacing usual reporter Kevin Keatings) mentions the loss of the Rose brothers, Ryan Naysmith and Hector and nobody brought in to replace them. We hear of Alan Pardew "flying high with West Ham last year". Hopefully they mean in Dream Team reality where they were supposed to be in the Championship still(!) [8.32 Play Off]
