Lucy interviews Fletch at Harchester Sound, in which he explains his feelings on Big Ron leaving, and how it has absolutely nothing to do with sour grapes at being taken off during the manager's final match. When they finish, Fletch wants to take Lucy out for coffee, but she is meeting Dean. At youth team training, Frank makes Sean run laps until he is "in the mood to join in", while Warren is granted an early exit for his probation meeting. As the boys head in for lunch, Frank stops Conor and says he would benefit from a fitness programme to get him up to scratch, which Frank arranges for that afternoon.
Warren's probation officer, Brenda, asks if he wants to discuss anything, as his charge at the magistrates court is assault and different to anything he's faced before. Warren has already conceded defeat, believing he will be found guilty and sent to the secure unit anyway. Warren only feels bad about his football, believing he's screwed up the best chance he had and the club will never back him now. Brenda assures Warren the club are pleased with his work, but he doesn't buy it, which Brenda tells him is a lonely way to live thinking the world is against him.
Dean and Georgina are making out in his car, when Dean stops and says he doesn't want a relationship with anyone else but Lucy. He tells Georgina he came here to make that clear, but one thing led to another again clearly. Georgina is disappointed Dean doesn't want to give up Lucy, and adds solemnly she must be pretty amazing before getting out. As the youth team finish up, Frank orders them to get an early night as they are playing West Ham tomorrow, who will be putting out a good side. He pins the team sheet and Sean is delighted to see he has made the squad. Dean tries to concentrate, but all he can do is think about what he's been getting up to with Georgina.
Conor is exhausted at the end of Frank's fitness programme. Warren meets Sean and Vincent at the snooker hall, where he puts paid to their curfew with a night at Studs where there'll be a Drum & Bass DJ, and will obviously be packed with girls. Sean is determined to stay in at Frank's orders. Zoe's friend Gemma comes round, and still embarking on the longest sulk known to man over Conor, Zoe decides they should go out, but to the student union bar and not Studs where the boys are going because it's a "dive". When Sean hears the best offer he is going to get all night is one of the Police Academy films with Des and a snoozing Conor, he finds his way to Studs with Vincent.
Dean is also in Studs with Lucy, and she can tell he is a million miles away. When Dean spots Georgina in the crowd he is immediately to his feet to pursue her, and gets stopped by Biloo, who offers his services as Dean's new agent. Dean makes his excuses and scarpers, failing to find Georgina. Lucy is angry at Dean for running off, and says she is going to meet her work colleagues at the brassiere. Dean returns home, and before Conor can tell him, he goes to his room to find Georgina lying in his bed waiting for him!
