			No. 16, which operated as the Baker family home and digs in Season 1, and Sean's house in Season 2, appeared in 43 episodes of DT. The digs setup with Harchester United's youth team members lodging with the Bakers, had been in place since around the 1989-90 season, when a seventeen-year-old Karl Fletcher lived with the family. The process continued through the decade with players moving in, and out, departing with a pro contract or not. It was at least a five bedroomed house, with Des/Lynette's room, Zoe and Stephen with their own rooms, and by 1997-98, Sean and Vincent sharing, and Dean later joined by Conor. Before that, there is drama when Zoe turns the newly arrived Conor away, believing she is about to lose her room to him, and he is left sleeping on the sofa. Dean is having an affair with Georgina, and when she stays the night in his room, she hides her bra in his pillow which Conor uses for his initiation set by Sean to get an item of Zoe's clothing. Vincent leaves the digs, without saying goodbye, when he tests positive for using performance-enhancing drugs. When Des believes Zoe may be Michael's daughter, he temporarily moves out and stays at Warren's flat, while Georgina, buoyed by the news that she may have long-wanted family in Zoe, takes up residence at the house.

1.47: Hall when Bakers’ digs
At the end of the season, with Conor failing to gain a first team contract, Sean is the last player living at the house, and with the Bakers opening the new youth team hostel, the house to sold to Sean where Fletch becomes his housemate. When Natalie returns from Turkey, Dean stays with Sean until he persuades her to go back with him. After another beating from his brother, Sean is determined to make things work with Natalie, and she eventually moves into the house. When Natalie goes back to Dean, Sean goes through a rough patch, but is distracted by Warren's sister Mica. Thus, Fletch is none-too-pleased when Sean and Mica return from Las Vegas after getting hitched. Sean regrets his drunken mistake but at the precise moment he is about to tell Mica, Frank arrives to break the news of Warren's death. Mica knows deep down Sean isn't in love with her, and embarrassed about a failed come-on to Luis in which she injured her face, Mica claims he attacked her. It makes Sean stay with Mica, but the truth eventually comes out. After winning the FA Cup, Fletch leaves to play for Real Mallorca, leaving Sean alone in the house. Concentrating on getting his form back in the UEFA Cup, Sean is killed in a plane crash returning from Holland, and the house passes to his family. Dean presents Fletch with the video recording he and Sean made of the FA Cup final, which ultimately captured Jerry making his payment to Wembley gunman MacKinley, the evidence Lynda needed.
