Tash awakes to find Jamie slept on the sofa, and chucking a cup of water over him, she forces Jamie out of the house in his boxers. He finds refuge at the Conlon's where an unimpressed Lizzie suggests he and Matt set up a cheating husband's think-tank. Ray visits Lynda, and shows her a tape of someone he believes could help get the club back on track, if they spend the money - his old Monaco team mate and now Paris Saint-Germain striker Monday Bandele. A fuming Prash tells Victoria he is going to make Lynda hate owning the club. With a year left on his contract, Ray believes they could get Monday for two or three million. Lynda knows the money from Didier won't be enough, they'd have to dip into next year's television revenue. Ray adds it would help bring outside investment in if they are seen to be doing well on the pitch.

At training, Ray has a word with Eddie about how he’s spoken with Gerry Francis and wants to send him to Queen’s Park Rangers on a month's loan. Eddie is set against this being a Premiership player, but Ray tells him they can offer first team football which Harchester can't. Lizzie is shocked to hear Tash plans to divorce Jamie, but Tash tells her she won't let a man walk over her by cheating, which Lizzie just loves hearing! Victoria approaches Lynda about letting Patterson-Palmer handle all the press who want to do features on her. Eddie is rattled during training, and is repeatedly rough with the team, particularly Danny. Victoria paints it to Lynda that Prash's temper frightened her over she not selling him the club. Eventually, Eddie is so wreckless Ray has to pull him off the pitch and send him indoors.

Victoria reports back to Prash that Lynda bought her story, but adds Lynda had a suspicious meeting with Jeff Stein. Prash gets to Lynda's office where he finds she, Ray and Jeff but Lynda cuts him out with how it's Jamie's disciplinary matter. Jeff will get the ball rolling with Monday's agent Wolfgang Meyer. Lynda and Jeff sit down to dinner with Wolfgang, where Lynda is taken aback when he and Jeff attempt to dissuade her interest in Monday and suggest another African player, Tuomi Kamalu. Ray is not happy to arrive and hear about this bid, persuading Lynda that she needs to back him over Bandele. Victoria sits nearby with a "journalist friend" and learns who Wolfgang is. Tash burns dinner, at precisely the time Fletch arrives with wine, claiming he had no idea she and Jamie had split, and offers to cook her dinner at his house.

Victoria and Prash conclude that Lynda is buying a player, and when Victoria mentions she heard "Monday" mentioned, Prash is suspicious. Fletch plans on trying it on with Tash, but his plan is thwarted when he gives her too much brandy which makes her fall asleep on him. Wolfgang also wants to try his luck with Lynda by driving her home, but with Ray living only next door it's the second block of the night he gives to the agent's moves! At training, Eddie refuses Ray's order that he train with the youth team, and threatens to fine him two weeks wages. Prash learns exactly what "Monday" means when Jeff informs him Monday as in Bandele will be here by Wednesday. Eddie even manages to cause a fight in the "Nappy Squad" (as Fletch calls them), and Ray asks Scott if he can get through to him, although Scott believes he isn't on the same wavelength as Eddie anymore.

Victoria sets about making Prash look good to the fans with how he is responsible for Monday's signing to the press. Sure as, Monday's arrival at The Lair sees him surrounded by the media, while Lynda and Ray look on. Wolfgang informs Lynda that PSG are furious about the press leak, on top of that more desirable clubs will now attempt to poach Monday. Fletch encourages Tash to try the Jacuzzi, and gets in with her to finally make his move. Tash pushes him off and storms out. During light training, Monday suffers another injury, and Ray makes it clear to Wolfgang until Monday is the player he was before his injuries he's not interested. Scott convinces Eddie by going to QPR for a month he will come back a better player, as he knows he hasn't been playing his best football.

Ray tells Monday he's one of the best strikers he's ever worked with, and when he's fit again they will talk. Lynda and Ray accuse Prash of making the club a laughing stock over informing the media in time for Monday's medical failing, and make him join them for the press conference. Ray puts the record straight to the press that medicals fail all the time, and this is just a minor setback. Tash gets home, and is so astonished to find Jamie has bought her an indoor fountain, which has malfunctioned to drench the floors, that she is susceptible to taking him back provided he never cheats on her again.
