Hit and Run

Ryan's career and health are in the balance after the fight with Marcel, but it seems he may have got off lightly. And £2m is missing after the Mendoza transfer deal.

Stuart is holding himself together in hospital. His son, Ryan, needed an emergency operation and they say his condition is critical.

Meanwhile, Clyde is telling the team what has happened. Stuart who has been brought back to the club to take training by Phil tells him that he will not tell the police. Phil thanks him for being so professional. Stuart storms into the changing room looking for Marcel. Jamie tells him that he thinks Marcy has done a runner.

Phil who is up in his office is met by The FA. He tells Phil that he has come to ask questions on one of his transfers, Roberto Mendoza's. He explains that they found something in with the contract showing a transfer of 2 million pounds to a bank account. Phil explains how Real Madrid upped the price at the last minute so he put in 2 million of his own money. The man tells Phil that Real Madrid only received 8 million pounds and not 10. He asks who received the 2 million if Real Madrid didn't.

Tash, who is in her home is trying to find out with Pilar, where Marcel has ran to. She finds out he is in Parma. At the same time Jeff is called up on his phone to go to the club. Phil wants to know about the Mendoza transfer. Pilar, who is Roberto Mendoza's agent asks what the call was about but Jeff just explains it was about Mendoza's medical situation.

The boys are in training, they are frustrated with Stuart who has been on his phone the whole session more interested in finding Marcel than taking the session.

Back at The Barons, Tash tells Linzie that she is going to have to look after the baby for awhile as she has to go and find Marcel. Linzie tells her that he will look after the house and Hope while she is gone.

Stuart who has gone back to visit Ryan is told by the doctor that he was severely injured. He is told that Ryan was lucky not to have been damaged more. The doctor tells Stuart that he will have to be on antibiotics for the rest of his life.

Jeff arrives at the club and is ordered into Phil's office. Phil asks where the last 2 million went. Jeff explains that he needed it to close the deal and that football is a complicated business. He tells Phil that when he met Pilar, the agent, she didn't really want Mendoza going to Europe and she had used them to drum up the price of Roberto himself. He explains that Mendoza was going to go to Milan but he used the 2 million on a bung to get Roberto Mendoza to come to Harchester United. Phil is not happy. Jeff tells Phil that The FA have no proof the 2 million went to Mendoza and tells him to pretend it went to something completely different. Phil though explains that it is too late and that he has already told The FA the truth. Jeff cannot believe it.

Jeff arrives home and begins packing his bags. He tells Linzie that he is leaving the country for good. She asks him to stay but he tells her that he is in a lot of trouble and has to leave immediately.

Pilar has gone to see Phil about the Mendoza deal. Phil tells him everything that Jeff had told him about the 2 million bung. Pilar is not happy and tells him that she only got given 1 million. The pair are furious and both go off in search of Jeff. Meanwhile, Jeff is at home waiting for the taxi to arrive. The doorbell rings furiously, it's Stuart. He manages to find out off Linzi that Tash has gone to find Marcel in Majorca. Jeff is getting into his taxi when Phil arrives. He grabs him by the neck and lays into him. Jeff manages to jump into the taxi and get sent to the airport. At the airport, he tries to buy a plane ticket but none of his cards are accepted.

Tash has arrived in Majorca, and arrives at his Villa. He know where to be seen though. At the same time, back in England, Stuart asks for a flight to Palma, Majorca, he wants to find Marcel.

Tash ends up finding him but Marcel tells her he is not going back home. He takes her out to eat though.

Back at The Barons, Pilar arrives at the Parkers house and tells Linzie that she is not leaving until she has spoken to Jeff. She sits and waits.

Marcel is thankful that Ryan is okay but admits he cannot go back to Harchester as he is too much of a risk. Tash doesn't understand, Marcel though, tells her that he has killed someone and he now must stay away from people. Tash forces him to take her for something to eat to discuss it.

It's getting late now and Stuart arrives in Palma. He manages to find Marcel's villa and he hides in the shadows, waiting.

Marcel tells Tara how when he was younger he had a beautiful girlfriend, he said that one day he saw his friend kissing and joking with her. He said he snapped and began hitting his friend over and over again and wouldn't stop. His girlfriend screamed and he hit her as well. She ran off and was never seen again. He explains that he caught the boy off guard and stabbed him. Pilar managed to get him out the country and cover the whole thing up. Marcel explains how he could never be with a woman again, he couldn't trust himself with them incase the same thing happened again. He tells Tash that every club he goes to he gets a therapist and that is why he has that man.

Pilar is still waiting for Jeff and just as Linzie tells her that he is not coming back, he arrives, opening the front door. Pilar asks for her money but Jeff tells her he hasn't got it. Pilar calls him pathetic and walks out.

Stuart is still waiting, hands firmly on a baseball bat. Marcel arrives home but cannot open the door. He bangs on it and Stuart hears. He rushes over to where the noise was coming from. He sees a man and woman walking and jumps out attacking the man. He then realizes that it isn't even Marcel and is very apologetic. He is arrested.

Back in England, Jeff is sleeping on the coach, smoking his final cigar. Linzie is upstairs sleeping. While asleep, the cigar falls onto some paper and starts a fire. Linzie awakes, taking the baby downstairs to see half of the house on fire. She tries to wake up Jeff but he isn't budging. Linzie runs round to tell Abi, she sends Fletch round, who grabs Jeff and gets him out the house. She calls Tash but after telling her there's a fire the phone breaks up so Tash does not no whether Hope is alright.

At the airport, the police tell Stuart that his flight is not till the morning so they will have to take him back to his cell. He asks if he can stay in the airport and he promises he will not move anywhere. They agree but they wait with him.

It's morning and Marcel awakes to hear both Tash and Marcel talking about getting home to find out if Hope is okay. He attacks him, punching him in the face and grabbing him by the neck. Marcel tries to stay calm. Stuart urges him to hit him back but Marcel does nothing. The police drag him away.

Tash arrives home to find Hope is okay. She thanks Linzie for saving her babies life but is not to kind to her Dad. She tells him to get out the house and not come back. Jeff goes to The Grange to find Jamie. While he is there he bumps into Pilar Hernandez. He tells her that he has a plan to get himself, Pilar and Harchester off the hook.

Back in Majorca, the police have locked Stuart up back in a cell. Jeff tells Pilar that she'll need to get Mendoza on board and he'll need to get Phil Wallis but he believes the plan will really work.

Phil receives a letter off The FA, practically saying that the club will be docked points resulting in relegation.

Ryan who is still in hospital, is met by Marcel. He apologises. He explains that he is finished with Harchester and football and he is retiring. Ryan tells him not to. He tells Marcel not to leave otherwise he'll get the blame for finishing his career and if The Dragons go down it'll be his fault. He tells him that if he wants to really make it up to him he'll get on the coach and play his heart out for the team.

Jeff goes for a word with Phil. He tells him that at the hearing, if they all tell The FA that the money was for Pilar to set up a scouting operation in North Africa. He tells him to tell The FA that he was just confused before and made a mistake believing the money was a bung. Phil agrees but tells him that he will get his money back.

Phil later goes to see the team and tells them that Stuart will not be able to make it as he is still in prison. He also says he's sorry that neither Ryan or Marcel will be playing. At this moment, Marcel arrives. He tells the team that Andy Ansah will manager the team. Harchester are playing Fulham. Jamie Parker makes a bad mistake causing Sava to score to make it 1-0. Sava scores another to make it 2-0. Fulham keep pressing and Sava gets his third, making it 3-0. Stuart, who is at the police station sees it on TV and cannot believe it. Phil is also gutted. Nikki tries to console him but it comes to no prevail.
