Sean, meanwhile, is turfed out from the Grange, following J.F's heavies’ work on his room. Both he and Gavin meet Miguel in Studs and are interrupted by the heavies, who take them to a derelict area where J.F makes chilling presumptions on how precious the career of a footballer is. He tells the trio that he's giving them more time to come up with his money, but in return they now have to cough up a further £500K. Jason and Katy get onto the subject of his twentieth birthday, and Katy asks if he's going to get in touch with Phil and Deano, but Jason is still bothered about the last time he saw them. At training, Miguel thinks he’s found the way of obtaining the £500K for J.F, by approaching their rich team mates. They make the full amount needed, only for Sean to be berated by Jimmy for the state of his room at the Grange. As punishment, Jimmy fines him two weeks wages, with finance taking the money he was due to get today! When Jason tells Sean that if he has £250K, he will be able to get him a further fifty, and shows the boys the IndyCar season in With Phil and Deano on board, Katy is unsure what they could get Jason in regards to the Dragons, as he is now part of the real thing. Deano says there is one thing that Jason hasn't got - and shows Katy a site where Karl Fletcher's FA Cup winning shirt from 1999 is up for bids. Jason's bet and Katy's bid go down to the final minute, and both are successful, with Jason winning the boys their needed £50K and Katy, Phil and Deano bagging HUFC history for Jason. Sean comes in with how they will throw Jason the best birthday he ever had in return, and take him to Katy arrives at Studs and Phil unveils the Fletch shirt, which she is so excited about Jason seeing. Gavin is about to head off when he walks in on Cindi laughing with J.F's two heavies, who have come to "personally deliver" Cindi's modelling shots. When she is out of the way, they tell a confused Gavin why they're really here. Gavin charges at Miguel for not paying J.F the money and Miguel bluffs, saying he did but J.F must be out for more. Not trusting Miguel to go alone again, Gavin and Sean say they will accompany him to settle with J.F, meaning they'll have to take Jason along too. They arrive at a deserted car park and an annoyed J.F informs Gavin and Sean that Miguel was a no show last night. Jason gets out of the car to see what the hold up is, as Miguel insists J.F is lying. As J.F demands his money for the final time, he suddenly begins choking on his chewing gum. Jason tries to perform the Heimlich Maneuver but he is unsuccessful, and J.F lies dead on the car park ground. At Studs, Deano has had enough waiting around for Jason, and tells Katy he'll always have time for her, but his friendship with her boyfriend is over. Phil follows him out, asking Katy to wish Jason a happy birthday from him anyway. Jason meanwhile, is attempting to resuscitate J.F, as Gavin and Sean look on in shock. Miguel however, coldly announces that their debt has been paid. He and Sean encourage Jason to leave J.F lying where he is and flee from the scene. As the others get back into the car, Miguel swipes J.F's black book from his dead body, disposing of all proof that they owed him money. A furious Katy arrives home after Notes: The Best: Jase’s birthday, and to mark his "old age", the lads give him a pair of slippers to train in, which even Jimmy sees the funny side (surprisingly).
