Retirement age really could be any other number to Terry Harrison. He would be proud to think of himself as having the mind of an eighteen year old, and sometimes acts like one. A call centre magnate with a beach-bum for a son and heir in Barbados, Terry was a reclusive Dragon’s fan who got to know Alex Rose when he was manager and then chairman of Harchester United. When Alex offers to sell the club to Terry, Harrison thinks it is because he wants to concentrate on managing. Little did he know that one of his first duties as new chairman would be to address a press conference on how he has “taken over from a man who's confessed to killing his own brother(!)” Another of Alex's last decisions was to appoint his old Sheffield Wednesday team mate, now Leeds United coach Jimmy Craig to his managerial role. Despite he connecting with a team disrupted by recent events, Terry doesn't feel Jimmy has the experience of managing a team like this, and produces a settlement for £300,000.

Terry approaches Alan Curbishley, and they are both there to witness Jimmy lose control as his daughter Gemma reveals she has gotten married, punching her husband! After Jimmy wins his first game, Terry informs him that even though he will still be keeping his eye on the look-out, Jimmy can continue in the role as manager for as long as he keeps up the good results. By the Christmas party, Terry has been impressed enough by Jimmy to draw up a permanent contract. Although he is embarrassed to learn, from Kim Sullivan snatching the microphone while he is congratulating the team on being on course for Europe next season, that the club is about to put a mother and kiddies on the street at Christmas. Harrison gets involved with the Sullivans further, when Danny doesn't want to be transferred to Southend, but when he sees who will be coming in his place, Sean Campbell, Jimmy states Sully's value is just going to decease, while Sean's will constantly rise.

When Amy Kerrigan's Press Officer boss leaves her in charge of business, she oversees Tom Magee's interview with Jimmy. When Tom drops Gemma into his interview, Jimmy physically throws him out and takes it out on Amy, in front of Terry. Terry brings in Alec, who is head of communications at his call centre, and when Terry plans to have Amy share with one of the secretaries so Alec can have her office, she quits. Later, Amy is called by a desperate-sounding Harrison, saying he needs her help. She finds him left naked and locked in the bathroom by a woman he met at the bar, who has taken pictures and is threatening to go to the press unless he pays her ten thousand pounds. Amy encounters Tom, who says he's here to meet Harrison’s woman in question, Lyndsey. Amy points out to Tom that Lyndsey is old news, and the nationals aren't going to pick up the story regarding Harrison. Having come to Harrison's rescue, Amy has her office back, and reminds Terry she won't be called "Love" or "Darling", and wangles a payrise out of him.

Harchester make the Champions League for next season and Terry turns up at training with a tray of champagne and the press in tow. When Jason lets slip to an awaiting pack of journalists that he hasn't yet received his contract for next season and fears he won't, Terry calls a meeting between he and Tony. Jason admits to Terry that whilst he has made mistakes he is committed to the team, and won't let him down which is all Terry wants to hear. With Dragonslayer releasing internal information on the team in order to damage their Title hopes, Terry tells Jimmy it feels like the blogger is in control, rather than he as manager. Terry is not happy about Jimmy dropping Gavin, Miguel and Sean simply because he suspects one or more of them is Dragonslayer, and when he still refuses to change his team sheet, Terry warns Jimmy he better be lucky today otherwise this game will be his last. Terry remains Harchester's chairman at the close of the season as Harchester face Chelsea to claim their first title in twenty-one years.
