GS: D.I. Dawson (Eddie O’Connell) Phillipa French (Nadia Cameron-Blakey) Tony Moliano (Peter McNally) Jerry sits with Phillipa before Dawson, and puts forward how he wanted to do the town a favour, building a new state-of-the-art stadium and new houses on the old Addison Road site. The council owned the land, and Jerry needed to buy the land so bribed Councillor Lal. Dawson tells him for half-a-million this would amount to the biggest corruption in local government history. Jerry claims Lal knows some very unsavoury people, and threatened him. Eddie's Neanderthal brothers Tony and Marco break into Scott's flat, and when he is not there go to search the club. Marilyn confronts Jerry as soon as he arrives back from the station, how he used the money she signed for to bribe people. Phillipa joins in, and tells Jerry because of his statement to the police he will have to plead guilty to the charge, and will have to give up every chairmanship of every company, including his beloved Harchester United. Kelly is left frustrated when Eddie cries off a training session at a school for disabled children, but Wes comes to the rescue and offers to take his place. As the lads sprint along the pitch, Eddie spots Tony and Marco arrive and sit in the stands. Jerry assures Marilyn he will make sure she won’t be caught up in this. Marilyn believes there was another reason why Jerry gave a local councillor like Lal that amount of money, and says she can't keep working for him unless he tells her the truth. Eddie warns Scott that he's got to get out of the club, as the last time a bloke even whistled at Gina, Tony and Marco tried to break the guy's legs. Eddie tries to talk Tony and Marco out of it, but they blame him for what happened. Scott dodges between cars behind them, and gets away in Eddie's motor, with the Moliano brothers hot on his tail. Jerry talks to Lynda about how it's all over for him at the club, but throws in the police will investigate whether Lal was behind her shooting! Scott creeps into his flat, but Tony and Marco are there already. He pleads with them not to hurt his legs and is given the nut by Marco. Eddie arrives not long after the brothers have left, and finds Scott unconscious. Two policemen enter having received calls about a disturbance, and take Eddie in.
