		No. 133 was the home of Lisa and Charlie Gerard, and featured in 10 episodes of DT in Season 5. Having met in Dublin when Lisa and Charlie attended Harchester's UEFA Cup First Round Second Leg against Shelbourne, Danny misses them when he is picked for a random drug test at Tolka Park. Returning home, Danny is stunned to find himself the press's most wanted man when he tests positive for a banned substance, and through Charlie's Junior Dragon membership, takes sanctuary at Lisa's house. Danny knows his result is down to he, and almost all the team, innocently taking Andrei's food supplements, and Lisa advises Danny to face the music and put forward his story. Danny gets together with Lisa, but she doesn't respond well to his celebrity image bringing press intrusion into she and Charlie's lives, and her ex-husband causes trouble by selling a story on how he is being pushed out of his son's life. Lisa calls the relationship off to Danny's regret. Attempting to move on, Danny encounters drug-taking girlband member Molly, and knowing this showbiz lifestyle is not for him, Danny makes a commitment to settle with Lisa. Though he is left feeling guilty about leaving Peggsy with the girls where he suffers a life-changing injury. Danny moves out of his house at The Barrons and in with Lisa, where agent Taylor Doyle is a frequent visitor. With Taylor's manipulation, Danny decides to pass on a place in the England Under-21's to play for the Republic of Ireland, through his grandmother's heritage. When Jeff advises an exhausted Danny that he should prioritise his fitness for the important games, and suggests dropping the upcoming FA Cup match for the Ireland/Nigeria World Cup warm-up, Danny has regrets ducking out of the game and tells Jeff the trust between them, and in himself, has gone, which Taylor uses to paint Jeff and Tash in a bad light. When Joe Rawsthorne reveals he is not in fact Danny's biological father, losing Danny his Ireland link, he records this for Taylor, who in turn uses it to blackmail Danny to sign for Atlético Madrid. Lisa is dead against this because she can't take Charlie to Spain, and feeling trapped Danny confirms his commitment by proposing to Lisa so they could stay together even if apart. On the day of Lynda's wedding to Sam, Paul Hankin has the story of Danny playing for Ireland after knowing he was no longer eligible, but the impact is lost when Harchester's coach crashes on the way to the UEFA Cup Final, and Danny is killed.
